Single-Site

The Motorola Capacity Plus Single Site DMR radio system provides increased trunked capacity for Mototrbo radio subscribers at a single site.

The Capacity Plus Single Site solution supports up to 8 Trunked (Voice) repeaters and up to 12 Data Revert Repeaters. All repeaters at the site must be of the same frequency band. A single Master repeater recognises repeaters as they join or leave the system but the trunking of calls to timeslots is managed between all voice repeaters.

Capacity Plus handles private, group, emergency and all call functions. 254 Group ID’s are allowed with group 255 being reserved for the all call function. Although there is a single Master repeater at the site, all trunked timeslots are available to handle voice calls. The site and available timeslots are advertised by the current rest channel beacon. As a call is made, the current rest channel timeslot is used for that call and the next available rest channel now advertises the site and available timeslots.

The Capacity Plus single-site solution offers a great increase in capacity whilst maintaining the same coverage as a conventional repeater site.

Conventional

Where increased coverage but limited capacity is needed, the Motorola IP Site Connect solution is ideal. With connectivity across up to 15 sites and two repeater timeslots available at each site, the system can be tailored to provide coverage for both local and wide-area radio calls.

DAS

Within difficult radio environments, a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) may be required. Business Communications Engineers can design, install and maintain a DAS within both fixed commercial and fluid construction site environments.

Multi-Site

The Motorola Capacity Plus Multi-Site DMR radio system provides both increased trunked capacity and coverage for Mototrbo radio subscribers at up to 15 sites.

The Capacity Plus Multi-Site solution supports a maximum of 140 peer devices including repeaters and RDAC across all sites. Up to 8 Trunked (Voice) repeaters and up to 11 Data Revert Repeaters can be used at any site up to a maximum of 12 repeaters in total at that site. All repeaters must be of the same frequency band.
A single Master repeater recognises repeaters as they join or leave the whole system but the trunking of calls to timeslots is managed at site level by the voice repeaters.
